Robson Moura

Robson Moura

Oversees class curriculum and conducts periodic seminars. Robson also tests each student for belt requirements. Robson “Robinho” Moura has been winning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions and titles since he was 13 years old. With an excellent martial philosophy, hard working style and love of the game, he is among the greatest of the world's jiu-jitsu players. The sport history of this 'Carioca' begins in 1988 at the age of 10 when he started training Jiu Jitsu in his hometown of Teresopolis (a small town in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).

His first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teacher was Jucao. Robinho was supported and encouraged by his family, especially his father. Robhino quickly grew his skills, becoming a champion of many competions, and collecting a number of regional titles. When his instructor Jucao moved to Rio, Robson started training under Master Andre Pederneiras and Wendel from the elite team Nova Uniao.

He continued to grow his skills and abilities, achieving national and international titles, becoming very well respected and esteemed. He is considered to have a very proficient and competitive way of fighting. By 18 Robson had achieved his greatest dream by becoming a Black Belt and today his is one of the most valued players in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.


John Gorsuch

With the emergence of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the United States in the late 1990's, John began studying grappling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Steel City Martial Arts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania under Sensei Sonny Achilles. In 2002, John moved to Orlando, Florida and continued studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and soon earned his purple belt in 2005. Shortly thereafter, John turned his attention to Mixed Martial Arts and trained with professional MMA fighters such as Seth Petruzelli, Ben Saunders, Luigi Fioravanti, and Tom Lawler along with other fighters.

After focusing his attention on MMA, John decided to refocus his training on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and met 7 time World Jiu-Jitsu Champion Robson Moura with team Nova Uniao.

Today, as a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Master Robson Moura, John teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the Nova Uniao of Central Florida located in Saint Cloud, Florida. John has competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has fought in amateur mixed martial arts. John also works as a Deputy Sheriff in Osceola County and tries to spread the importance of ground fighting in law enforcement.


Rich Doty

Rich has been training in the striking arts, including Muay Thai, Western Boxing, Shotokan Karate, and Tae Kwon Do for over 15 years. Throughout those years, Rich has also trained in several additional systems including Judo, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Hapkido, Kali, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Rich has been a law enforcement officer for the past 12 years, and is a certified law enforcement defensive tactics instructor. Rich currently teaches Muay Thai, Western Boxing and defensive tactics for law enforcement.


Don Adams

Don Adams is the instructor for the Kid's Martial Arts Program at Full Circle Nova Uniao. Don takes the application of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and breaks it down in a way that is simple for the children to understand. Furthermore, as a former Military Personnel, Don incorporates structure and fundamental life skills so that our students understand the importance of discipline and focus in daily activities. Don also teaches examples of how life situations and Jiu-Jitsu are similar and explains the concept of making "Good Choices".


Eric Raposo

Eric Raposo is an Assistant Instructor in the Kid's Martial Arts Program. He helps Don Adams teach the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.


Bruce Connors

Bruce Connors is a former Marine Scout Sniper and current law enforcement officer and SWAT team member. His six years of Mixed Martial Arts training has given him the talent and versatility to be a force in the cage as well. He holds a Cage Warriors World Featherweight Title. Bruce is currently ranked in the top five Featherweights in Florida. Bruce is an instructor for the Pro and Amateur MMA program.


Anthony Falotico

Anthony Falotico started his boxing career at the age of 19, winning numerous titles (1999, 2000 & 2001 Golden Gloves ). He was also chosen to represent his country and ranked 3rd in the nation in the Island International Tournament. He has won 2 state titles at 147 &156 weight classes. Anthony's love and dedication for his sport was proven when he started his own boxing gym in 2009, and has since become a well respected coach successfully coaching and producing 6 state champions. The knowledge he gives to the fighters he trains both amateur and pro is immeasurable….He currently holds an undefeated record with his fighters as of 2011/2012.


Jaykin Rivera

Jaykin Rivera's Love for boxing began at the early age of 10, when he and his brother would go to well known boxer, Mickey Rosario's Gladiators Boxing Gym, to learn how to protect themselves from the bully's in the neighbor hood, over time his passion for the sport grew, and by 1999 he knew what he wanted to do and began training at Dan's Boxing Gym, competing in the USA amateur events winning numerous titles and trophies (2002 Florida North District Golden Gloves Champion, 2002 P.A.L State Champion, 2003 Florida State Golden Gloves Champion, 2011 Georgia's Title National Championships & 2011 Kansas City Ringside World Championships) After an unfortunate jet ski accident, Jaykin was no longer able to compete professionally but never lost his love or passion for the sport and has become one of boxing up and coming coaches with an impressive record as well as another title: 2012 Florida State Golden Gloves Champion in the 165lbs Masters Division
